My philosophy

My name is Nezar Benalamin, and I am an experienced personal trainer with a holistic approach that considers the body, nutrition, and mind. Originally, I studied business administration, but over 20 years ago, I began my journey as a trainer. As a former competitive athlete, I constantly struggled with pain despite my physical activity. These experiences gave me insights into the pain that has become all too common for many people today. When my discomfort made it nearly impossible to continue my sports, I turned to new training approaches. This led me to discover yoga and Pilates, sparking a deep dive into understanding the body as a unified whole. My approach is driven by a profound passion for movement and health and is based on the understanding that purely physical exercises are not enough to achieve sustainable results. Instead, the body must be viewed as a whole to find the right balance between movement, nutrition, and mental strength. My training design incorporates insights from numerous advanced studies in anatomy, neurology, and the interplay between muscle groups, fascia, and organs, as well as their respective interactions. I am also deeply engaged in the relationship between mind and body, recognizing that physical health cannot be considered separately from our thoughts and emotions. Today, I offer my services as a personal trainer with a holistic concept. I combine my knowledge of the body, nutrition, and mental health to help my clients achieve their (health) goals and find their personal balance in life. Through my extensive experience as a movement therapist, therapeutic approaches such as craniosacral therapy and trigger point treatment are integral parts of my repertoire. There is no one-size-fits-all solution—each person is unique, and their needs are constantly evolving. Therefore, we will continuously and collaboratively discover the right balance of therapy, movement, and nutrition for you. While implementing all this requires a minimum level of discipline, I always focus on conveying the joy of movement in my training. In the long run, it is this joy in movement that drives and motivates us to continuously work on ourselves.
